It’s a new year and life is here and now!  Everyone wants to make new starts and new beginnings at the start of a year. Well first of all, to see a new year is a blessing. Guess how many people were going to wait until 2016 to start something and they didn’t make it to 2016!! So everything they waited for is buried with them. I’m not gonna be Ms. Perfect and say that I don’t wait on things. I do! As the old saying says, good things come to those that wait.. But not if you wait too late!! 

I have my desires that I want to achieve, but I’m just like you..a procrastinator!  I wait until I think the time is right, or do it on my own time. But guess what’s not promised to us? Right!! Time!! When God gives you what you ask for, and it’s staring you in the face…it’s your time!! If you hit that snooze button, then you just may miss the alarm. I plead guilty to missing out on several blessings God has for me by questioning His gifts. But I wasn’t at the level I am now with my faith.   And now, I try to take advantage of all He has for me!  Now is the time!  Now is the time to get your body in shape! Now is the time to get that business venture up and going!! Now is the time to commit to that dream you’ve had! Now is the time to take that trip you always wanted to take! Now is the time! How long will you live?  Will you wake up tomorrow? Did you tell the people you love how you feel? Dis you kiss your children last night or tell them you love them today?  You can’t take advantage of anything God has given you because tomorrow may be too late. 

I always tell my kids that if I die tomorrow, please know that your Mommie LIVED! Are there any regrets? Sure there are, but I don’t focus on them because God gives me what I need!  I continue to live and love. I will continue to influence positively. Because LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO WAIT!! Do what you want to do today.

I will no longer wait on the “right time”!  Or the right people, or the right place, or the right day!! I will do what I want and do it starting today!! You are your own priority!  So get life started today!!!
